Me and mom went up to Bradenton today. We went to this park for De Soto. He was looking for gold and didn't find any. They have a pass thing so we can get into Yellowstone and other parks for free. Mom got me that. She bought me a passport book thing for the parks. I got my first stamp at the De Soto park. We also got the car worked on. New brakes and flushing stuff. And a belt. Mom says all we need now is one more oil change before we go. (From mom: The park was the Hernando De Soto Memorial park . If you live in Florida, it's really a nice side trip. Bring comfy walking shoes and do the trail -- we didn't walk the trail because it was hot and I didn't have sneakers on. But we didn't know the place was even there until I looked for an NPS site to get the Access pass for Joey.)
